That had a Birds-esque fear of the unknown thing going for it. Its ironic ending also had quite a bit to say about human nature. Unfortunately, we have that to blame for a truckload of crappy, "slow people are trying to eat my brain" movies. I like how many Hitchcock type of movies made the list. Excellent choice. It's rare to find a Top Horror list without The Shining or The Exorcist making the cut... but that's doesn't take away from the quality of movies you selected. I especially like your ranking of The Sixth Sense at #2. It was definitely a great movie and a great horror movie (though I find it hard to believe when you said you love ALL of M. Night Shyamalan's films). My list would probably look very similar to yours as I am too a fan of Scream, Carrie, Alien, and of course Psycho. Again... great post! Hey… great list! Your list is great! At the top of my favorites are Hannibal series, Saw series, Night of the Living Dead and The Shining.
